Mission
Bethany Christian School partners with parents to educate students for a life of Christ-centered excellence in academics,
moral character, and Christian service.
Accreditation
Bethany Christian School is accredited by the prestigious Western Association of Schools and Colleges and The Association of Christian Schools International.
Academics: Our curriculum is aligned with the California state standards and frameworks. BCS students average two grade levels or better above the national average on standardized tests.
Our five core subjects are Bible, social studies, mathematics, languages arts, and science.
Students are able to participate in a variety of academic and extracurricular activities and programs throughout the year.
Moral character: We emphasize Christian character traits and work with parents to hold their students accountable for their behavior, which will enable them to mature into young men and women who are pleasing to God and good citizens to their community.
Christian Service: We do not want to be merely a Christian school in name only, but we endeavor to put Jesus Christ at the center of all we do. A biblical world view is integrated throughout the curriculum and our students are encouraged to know Christ as their personal savior and grow deeper in their Christian faith. Campus life includes weekly student-led chapels, the Bethany Buddy Program (students partnering with students), student leadership (in Middle School), and missionary support.
Other student support services include a hot lunch program, extended day care, summer programs, and high school test preparation and admissions.
