Adult Bible Fellowships are a great place to connect with other people at Bethany. Various classes are held for people in different stages of life and with different interests. Classes are held between the two worship services on Sundays starting at 9:35am.

Discovery
30's and 40's couples and singles in room C-234.

Encouragers
50's + in room C-241.

Genesis
Life Group for all ages in room C-242.

Pilot
Life Group for mixed ages in room C-107.

Prospectors
Life Group for 60's + in room C-235.

Upper Room
Life Group for all ages - discipleship and spiritual growth - in room C-232.

Voyagers
Seniors in room C-243.

Women's
Women of all ages in room C-238.

Christianity 101
Membership Class - This 6 week course outlines the essential beliefs of Bethany Church as well as its mission, structure, and support for growth in the church.  This course has as its main goal the  baptism and/or membership of attendees but also may be used just to gain information about the church.

Christianity 201
Spiritual Disciplines - Have you ever found it difficult to know how to effectively live out your faith in the “real world”?  Here is a course that will help you transform into a Kingdom Liver.  A great deal of focus will be placed on becoming a Christian leader.

Christianity 301
Finding Your Fit - Discover your God-given spiritual gifts, personal style, and ministry passions.
Connect to specific ministry opportunities where you can make your unique contribution in a meaningful place of service.
Serve competently with your spiritual gifts, authentically with your personal style, enthusiastically with your ministry passions.

Christianity 401
Evangelism and Missions - So much of the richness of our faith has been lost because we do not understand where we come from and who we are as a people.  In this survey course, you will be given a snapshot of the last 2000 years of Church history as we discover Christ’s work in and through the Church.

Church History
In this class you will learn to deal with personal finances in a biblical manner.  This class is great for young people starting out or as a refresher course for any who would like to become better at managing the resources that God has given you.

Financially Fit
In this class you will learn to deal with personal finances in a biblical manner.  This class is great for young people starting out or as a refresher course for any who would like to become better at managing the resources that God has given you.

How to Study the Bible
For millennia, people have debated over Scripture primarily because they have not known how to read it.  In this straightforward class you will have the opportunity to gain a good foundation in your Bible Study skills.

 

Life Groups

Because we are called to live in community, because we are called to fellowship and to care for each other, and because we understand that life change happens best in small groups, we are committed to cultivate small group ministry as a key aspect of ministry here at Bethany. These small groups meet weekly from September through early June for fellowship, sharing and support. Many meet in homes with 10-12 adults in a typical group. A few groups focus on a special interest or area of need.

Junction - Kardia (for women) & Huddle (for men)
This is our Wednesday night Bible Study for all ages.  Dinner for the whole family is served starting at 5:45 in the Ministry Center Dining Room.  At 7, everyone breaks up into their small groups.
