Young Adults

Mission Welcome to Something More. We are a group of college students and young adults who are in search of real relationships with one another, God, and the community around us. We are constantly trying to figure out what it means to follow Jesus Christ in a changing world. We ask the hard questions about faith and life.  Wherever you are in your journey of faith, whether you have been a Christian your whole life or are not sure what you believe, we invite you to join us as we learn from one another and the Bible what it means to be a community and what it means to be the people of God. We have three goals: 1. Connecting with God 2. Developing authentic relationships (“being real”) 3. Serving our community Regular Programs The Gathering Sunday Mornings 9:40-10:40AM Sanctuary Every week, young adults (18-25) come to hang out, praying together, and engaging in group discussion of an issue that Biblically relates to us. We usually have a barrista to make our favorite drinks. Monthly Fun Events Stay tuned for schedules at www.bethanyfamily.com. Every month, we find something fun to do together (e.g. BBQ’s at the beach, dinner and a movie, scavenger hunt...). Monthly Service Events Stay tuned for schedules at www.bethanyfamily.com. Every month, we serve our community together (e.g. taking meals to people who can’t leave their homes, working as kitchen crew at an Al-Anon retreat, preparing food at the Salvation Army Thanksgiving Feast, etc.).
